Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration

The Annual MLK, Jr. Celebration is held in honor of Dr. King’s visit to St. Francis College in May 1964 and to encourage discussion of racial equality in the 21st century.

As part of the 2023 celebration, ISE hosted a moderated panel discussion that featured local activists and community organizers. The goal of the event was for attendees to gain a sense of empowerment in engaging with their local community, whether it be ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ or the southern Maine area.
