Trisha Mason first joined ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ in 2006 as the director of study abroad and continuing education, building the interational education program from the ground up. In 2011, Trisha went on to build the service learning program for health professions students by creating mutually beneficial local partnerships, and supporting logistics for the Cross Cultural Health Immersion in Ghana
Trisha has extensive international experience including studying and working in Latin America and travel to over 20 countries on 5 continents. She received her B.A. in World Politics from Hamilton College and her M.A. in Public Policy and Management from the Muskie School at the University of Southern Maine. Professionally, Trisha spent five years in Washington, D.C. at the Institute of International Education supporting a global business student adviser program and at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce where she led U.S. congressional delegation visits to Latin America, orchestrated international delegation and head of state visits and managed an ambassador tour in collaboration with the Brazilian Embassy. While in graduate school she worked at the Maine Small Business Development Centers, overseeing a federal demonstration project and authoring over $750,000 in winning grant applications.
