Dr. Kerry Martin joined the School of Pharmacy as the Director of Experiential Education in 2023. Prior to this role, she served as Interim Director of OEE, an adjunct instructor in the Simulation Lab, instructor in the Abilities Lab, and lecturer in the Self-Care course during the 2023 academic year. Dr. Martin began her work with ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ students in 2011 as a preceptor and continued to serve in this capacity as an adjunct preceptor in the Simulation Lab during the 2017-2018 academic year.

A third-generation pharmacist, with over a decade of experience as a community pharmacist, Dr. Martin most recently held the position of Pharmacy Manager for CVS Health. Her professional journey is defined by a deep commitment to patient care, team leadership, and student mentorship. During her time at CVS Health, she was awarded the Paragon Award, which recognizes the best of the best among CVS Health colleagues and is among the highest honors awarded by the company. Passionate about teaching, Dr. Martin transitioned into higher education to focus more directly on student development and education, bringing her extensive clinical and leadership experience to the classroom and to the experiential space.

Dr. Martin was recently an inaugural recipient of the ACT Community Pharmacy Practice Transformation Educators' Badge. This first cohort of 54 educators proved their commitment to, and competencies in, community pharmacy practice transformation through knowledge, training, engagement/implementation and dissemination activities. 

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Martin enjoys reading, musical theater and spending time with family and friends.
