Dr. Farrior grew up in southern Alabama and attended Auburn University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. He attended and received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2008. Upon graduation from Tufts, Dr. Farrior joined a multidisciplinary practice in Atlanta, GA. Returning to New England, Dr. Farrior joined a practice in Exeter, NH, and served as a clinical instructor in the Operative Department at Tufts University. In 2014, he joined the faculty of the ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ as an Assistant Clinical Professor. Dr. Farrior was instrumental in the development of the Oral Health Center, along with his fellow Group Practice Leaders, serving as the clinical representative for the 2015 Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) site visit.
In 2016, Dr. Farrior completed his Masters of Science degree in Medical Education Leadership from the ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ. Currently, Dr. Farrior serves as Associate Clinical Professor. Dr. Farrior has completed the American Dental Educators Association’s (ADEA) Leadership Institute and serves nationally as an accreditation site visitor and as an officer in the Clinical Administration section of ADEA.
Dr. Farrior is involved with multiple local and national dental organizations, which allows him to stay current in the evolving field of dentistry. He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), as well as an active member of the Greater Portland Dental Society, Maine Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
