I first found the world of occupational therapy and occupational science through my work with the Intellectual and Developmentally Disabled (IDD) community as an anthropologist. Since then, my primary OT experience has been in pediatrics with a special interest working with adolescents and young adults with IDD to navigate and achieve successful post-secondary transitions.
