It is the only forum that brings all nurse anesthesia educational programs together in one place to discuss current educational requirements and how they will define the future of the profession. This year’s program included sessions on wellness for program administrators and students, the health of the nurse anesthesia profession, best practices and smart spending in simulation labs and state authorization regarding distance education and clinical placements.
Francis-Connolly attended a networking session with other deans of nurse anesthesia programs as well as a luncheon where Nimmo gave opening remarks.
