³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ College of Osteopathic Medicine students volunteer at New England Parkinson’s Ride
Students from the ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ College of Osteopathic Medicine volunteered at the New England Parkinson’s Ride on September 9, 2017.
The ride, which had 50 and 100-mile routes, saw an estimated 1,000 cyclists from all across the country. Students from osteopathic honor and service society Sigma Sigma Phi sponsor a rest stop each year for the ride. This year, that rest stop was located at St. Andre Health Care Facility just down the road from ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ’s Biddeford campus. Members of the Student American Academy of Osteopathy (SAAO) provided osteopathic manipulative treatment on riders at the finish line.
