³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ’s new Director of Occupational Therapy attends competitive leadership institute

Kris Winston, Ph.D., O.T.R./L., program director for the Occupational Therapy Department in the ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ’s Westbrook College of Health professions, attended the Academic Leadership Institute of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).

The yearlong program began with a workshop August 22, 2016 in Alexandria, Virginia. The institute provides attendees with the opportunity to grow and develop as leaders. According to AOTA, there is a shortage of qualified academic leaders for occupational therapy education programs.
