³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ students and faculty raise money for Camp No Limits
The ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ’s Student Occupational Therapy Association (³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏSOTA) donated proceeds from its 2016 spring gala to a camp dedicated to empowering young people with limb loss.
Each year, ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏSOTA’s annual Spring Gala fundraises for specific causes or organizations in the community related to the profession of occupational therapy. This year the organization chose Camp No Limits, a non-profit providing education, mentorship, and support to children with limb loss and their families.
³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏSOTA donated 100% of the money from ticket sales to the organization. Students and faculty from the Departments of Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy raised enough money to send seven children to camp.
