Full-time undergraduate students at UNE receive merit-awards up to $20,000. These scholarships are allocated based on academic achievement (SAT scores and high school GPA); students with stronger scores will receiver higher funding levels. Merit awards are renewed for up to eight semesters, provided that the student holds a 2.5 GPA or higher. 

Need-based funds are also given at UNE based on income. Students who wish to receive need-based scholarships must file for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) annually to be considered. Both merit and need-based scholarships at UNE aim to create access for students, making a 勛圖惇蹋 education more affordable.
