'Journal Tribune' story describes ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ's participation in the People's Climate March
³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ student and faculty involvement in the recent People’s Climate March—the largest climate demonstration in history—was the subject of a story in the September 27-28, 2014 edition of the Journal Tribune. The story appeared on the front page of the paper's weekend edition.
Among the more than 310,000 environmental activists who walked a route through New York City were 48 ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ students, as well as faculty members Pamela Morgan, Ph.D., chair of the Department of Environmental Studies, and Bethany Woodworth, Ph.D., assistant lecturer of environmental studies. The group marched in the “We Can Build the Future“ section, along with 50,000 students from 320 other colleges and universities.
Morgan and Woodworth are quoted in the Journal Tribune story, along with ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ students Katelyn Duffy ’18, Ellie Weickert ’16 and Ryan Rossen ’17.
