³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ and Deering High's global initiatives partnership covered by the Forecaster

The Forecaster on Jan. 29th ran a story on the new partnership between Deering High School and ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ's Global Initiatives Program.

As a result of the new partnership, Deering students will be able to attend lectures by international experts at UNE’s Portland campus.  ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ students who have travelled abroad will also share their experiences with Deering students.  ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ faculty will provide professional development for Deering’s staff on topics such as the importance of developing a global outlook. ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ's Associate Provost for Global Initiatives, Anouar Majid, Ph.D., was quoted in the story.
