Heather Ferrill elected to Board of Governors of American Academy of Osteopathy
Associate Professor of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine at the ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ’s College of Osteopathic Medicine (³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏCOM), Heather P. Ferrill, DO, was elected to a three-year term on the Board of Governors at the annual business meeting of the (AAO) during the AAO Convocation in Louisville, Ky., March 22, 2012.
Ferrill, who is Board-certified in Family Practice and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine/Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, runs a practice emphasizing Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment in the pediatric population. She has a special interest in the osteopathic management of headache, vision and dental issues and is currently involved in osteopathic educational research. She serves on the AAO Education Committee and as the Student American Academy of Osteopathy Chapter Advisor for ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏCOM.
