Charles Thompson is featured in Artscope magazine
The January/February issue of Artscope magazine features a story on Charles Thompson, ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ professor of creative and fine arts, whose "en plein air" paintings are on display in the Campus Center at the Biddeford Campus through mid-January.
The writer Taryn Plumb writes that "Unlike other plein air painters, who often work part of the time outside and finish up in the studio by relying on snapshots or drawings, Thompson prefers the entire process to be on-site and in the moment, and he’ll often spend weeks habitually returning to the same spot at the same time of day until he completes a piece."
