Jim Cavanaugh organizes a Wheelchair and Seating Exhibition in Finley Recreation Center

Jim Cavanaugh, PhD, PT, NCS recently organized a "Wheelchair and Seating Exhibition" in the Finley Recreation Center on the ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ Portland Campus.  The exhibition featured local equipment vendors from Blackbear Medical and various manufacturers representatives providing mini-lectures on various wheelchair and seating equipment options for children and adults with physical disabilities.  In attendance were DPT students from ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ and Husson University, as well as physical therapist assistant students from Kennebec Valley Community College.  The event was the first ever joint learning experience involving the only 3 physical therapy education programs in Maine.
