Members of ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ's College of Health Professions will give several presentations at the Interprofessional Care for the 21st Century: Redefining Education and Practice Conference from March 12 & 13, 2010 at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, PA.
Carl Toney, P.A., Nancy MacRae, M.S., OTR/L, Anne M. Summer, R.N., P.A., Joseph Wolfberg, M.S. and Lionel Vachon, D.D.S. will give a presentation titled "Turf, Team, and Town: A Geriatric IPE Team Model."
Shelley Cohen Konrad, Ph.D. and Clay Graybeal, Ph.D. will give a presentation titled "Revisioning the Next Step: A Collaborative Process for Building and Promoting an Interprofessional Education Infrastructure for Transformative Learning."
Karen Pardue, M.S., RN will give a presentation titled "Reader's Theater: Promoting Interprofessional Communication Through Innovative Pedagogy."
Nancy MacRae, M.S., OTR/L and Betsey Gray, M.S.W. will give a poster presentation titled "Strategies to Nurture Aging People (SNAP) Initiative."
In addition, Clay Graybeal, Ph.D. will be part of a panel discussion at the Inaugural Meeting of the American Interprofessional Healthcare Collaborative (AIHC) Meeting on March 11, 2010 on "Fostering Institutionalization of IPE through Changing Curricula."
