Maine Arts Commission's $50,000 grant to Biddeford coalition garners news coverage

The and (Biddeford) covered the Maine Arts Commission's announcement on Friday, Dec. 10 that the Commission had awarded a $50,000 grant to a coalition of Biddeford organizations to effect community revitalization through cultural initiatives. The coalition includes the ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ, City Theater, Engine and Heart of Biddeford. One of the specific objectives of the grant is to identify exhibition space in downtown Biddeford for ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ to host a series of faculty and student shows, and actively integrate more of the University’s vibrant academic and intellectual programming into downtown Biddeford.
