Faculty appointment of internationally renowned psychiatrist and neuroscientist Robert Lenox covered by Journal Tribune
The Journal Tribune on Aug. 27, 2010 ran a story on the appointment of Robert Lenox, M.D., to the ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ College of Osteopathic Medicine's Departments of Psychiatry and Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Lenox has a distinguished academic research and teaching career spanning 25 years. He is an internationally renowned psychiatrist and neuroscientist who held continuous NIH grant funding, and has authored more than 150 peer-reviewed publications, as well as numerous reviews and book chapters, in the fields of molecular neuropharmacology and clinical psychopharmacology. The story quotes Edward Bilsky, Ph.D., director of ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ's Center for Excellence in the Neurosciences: “Having senior-level clinician scientists such as Dr. Lenox will not only provide unique perspectives on particular research projects, but also will help immensely in mentoring the new group of junior and mid-level scientists who have been recruited to the university over the past several years.â€
