Ali Ahmida interviewed by Chinese magazine Life week
Ali Abdullatif Ahmida, Ph.D., professor and chair of the ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ's Politcal Science Department, was interviewed on Aug. 25, 2009 by Life Week, Beijing, the most widely circulated news magazine in China, about the Scottish government's release of Abdel Basset Ali al-Megrahi, the only person convicted in connection with the 1988 bombing of Pan AmFlight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland, which killed 270 people. Ahmida's latest books are Post-Orientalism: Critical Reviews in North African Social and Cultural History and Bridges Across the Sahara: Social Economic and Cultural Impact of the Trans-Sahara Trade during the 19th and 20 Centuries.
