Stephen Burt, M.F.A., professor in the ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ School of Arts and Humanities at the ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ, will deliver the Ludcke Chair lecture titled "Witness: An Artist in the Anthropocene" at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5. The event will take place in the Bush Board Room on ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ's Biddeford Campus, with an online viewing option available at . A reception will follow the lecture in the Bush Board Room. 
 

 

Burt, recipient of the 2024 Ludcke Chair award, was recognized for his outstanding accomplishments as a teacher and scholar. The Ludcke Chair, funded by a bequest from Eleanor Ludcke's estate, is awarded annually to a tenured faculty member in the College of Arts and Sciences.
