CAIEP Knowledge Exchange – Harm Reduction in Healthcare Settings: How to promote safety, trust and compassion for people who use drugs

Your future patient is using opioids and stimulants that are not prescribed.  Participants attending this interprofessional event will review epidemiology of the overdose crisis and infectious disease complications from substance use, be able to identify harm reduction practices with other professions, and identify ways to reduce stigmatizing language and behavior.

Participation can be applied toward students’ IP Honors Distinction.
