Seminar Topic: Research Preparation
Learning objectives: Seminar participants will understand conceptually and operationally how a research question is conceived; study subjects are chosen; measurements are planned; sample size and power are estimated.
This seminar series is designed for faculty, particularly those in professional degree programs, who wish to learn more about the process of designing and implementing clinical and translational research. The seminar will be highly interactive and participatory and the lecture and exercise (that will be presented in the following week) will be based on the following books that are available as eBooks to the ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ community:
